Accident, sickness and unemployment cover replaces your lost earnings if you become unable to work due to an accident, illness, injury or redundancy. Whilst normally a cheap form of insurance, the policy will only pay out for a short period of time. There are normally better products which are more suitable for protecting you and your family such as Income protection insurance.
